The Burr Oak Design Center is a unique 7,700 square foot office that exemplifies sustainable building practices. The project was built using the latest in energy saving and environmentally-sound building practices. The building encompasses heating and air conditioning systems that consume one-fifth of the energy of traditional buildings. The abundance of windows blurs the line between indoors and outdoors allowing for natural lighting and comfortable ventilation. This building received a LEED Silver certification from the USGBC.
