Hunzinger Construction Company

Hunzinger Construction Company was hired as the General Contractor for the 400 square foot Bernie’s Chalet at Miller Park Stadium in Milwaukee. Adjacent to the Brewers Team Store by Majestic Athletic in the Hot Corner at Miller Park stands Bernie’s Chalet, a retail outlet featuring jerseys, t-shirts and bats ready for customization. The design and construction of Bernie’s Chalet is a replica of the original chalet from County Stadium that was removed prior to Miller Park’s opening day in 2001. Bernie’s Chalet features exposed rafter framing, Cambria transaction tops and a cedar shake roof. Onlookers will also get a glimpse into Bernie’s personal life as they peer through the Chalet window into Bernie’s bedroom which is of course decked out in full Brewer’s gear.
