The Crossings at Big Bear Lake is a 42-unit affordable housing community providing 14 three-bedroom flat plans and 28 two-bedroom townhomes for members of Big Bear’s workforce earning 30% to 80% AMI, in San Bernardino County. Supportive services and educational programs will be offered to residents from the community’s 2,600 s.f. community center. The architectural style is a heavy timber framed exterior appearance and was completed in 14 months and delivered on schedule in August 2011, despite a record 86” of snowfall and 56 days of weather delay. The first residents moved in early September, in advance of the start of school, as programmed by the Owner and the City of Big Bear Lake. The Crossings is located directly across the street from Big Bear Elementary School and close proximity to Big Bear Village and public transportation.
